Music and Spirits at Jamaica’s International Reggae Wine Festival

Sip a little wine, jam out to some reggae tunes, and you’ll be feeling irie in no time. That’s the idea behind the International Reggae Wine Festival, scheduled this year for the evening of August 11.

Singers like Tessane Chin, Leroy Sibbles and Romain Virgo will perform against the backdrop of the lovely Rose Hall Plantation’s aqueduct ruins, and the ocean beyond, in Jamaica’s famed Montego Bay. Wine distributors will be on hand to serve up an international sampling of various vintages, which concert-goers can enjoy with their souvenir wine glasses.

A relatively new event on Jamaica’s festival calendar, the International Reggae Wine Festival is in its second year, yet it is expected to draw crowds from across the island as well as visitors from abroad.

Stay at the beautiful Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall and you’ll be minutes from the show.
