For an island 20 miles long there is a lot to see in Bermuda. The best way to start is at either end of the island – St George’s offers a trip back in time with its quaint streets and old houses and museums while Dockyard offers something for everyone.

When in St George’s be sure to check out the beautifully maintained St Peter’s Church and King’s Square as well as the historical Old State House and Tucker House Museum or just take a wander around Somers Garden, where the heart of Sir George Somers, founder of Bermuda, lays at rest in a tomb.

Up in the west end of the island, Commissioner’s House is well worth a visit as is a stroll around the dock and buildings and to cool off go for a swim at the tranquil Somerset Long Bay Park on your way back to Hamilton.
