Where to beach
Next: How's the weather
Bermuda lays claim to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. From the pink sands of Horseshoe Bay, the surf of Elbow and Warwick Long Bay beaches and the family friendly Shelly Bay to the tranquility of the beaches in the east end, there is something here for everyone. And if you are staying at an exclusive hotel on the South Shore there will often be your own private beach and pool to enjoy.
Alternative places to beach:
- Clearwater Beach – nestled away at the east end of the island where only the locals go
- John Smith’s Bay – a personal favourite that has it all – a quiet beach which is ideal for swimming
- Church Bay – scuba divers and snorkelers will love this nice little sheltered cove where they can plunge into the depths to explore the abundant sea life
- Somerset Long Bay Beach and Park – the ultimate secluded paradise where you can wallow in the shallow waters or kick back on the beach, put your feet up and forget about all your worries.
