It feels like we should be breaking the bank by staying at Beach View. This hotel is a terrific value. It is a gem from the sparkling pool, to the shimmering bay, and the gleaming clean grounds the hotel is rich with class, convenience, and easy relaxation. We want to pack up all the extended family and bring them along for the trip to experience this unbelievable beauty and all the exciting adventures.

The expansive gleaming white sand beach at Payne’s Bay is home to Beach View hotel in Barbados. This western shoreline beach is just minutes from Holetown, the second largest city in Barbados.
Known as the Platinum Coast, the west coast of the island is the most popular because of its numerous gorgeous beaches, nearly unlimited access to recreation and entertainment.

A Bodacious Selection of Prime Beaches
Payne’s Bay beach is just below the terrace of the Beach View Hotel. The bay here shelters the water making it an ideal swimming spot due to its calm and balmy waters. Rent a lounge chair and recline on the beach or procure snorkeling and water-sport equipment from one of the many vendors for a day of fun in the water. Snack and beverage vendors are on hand as well.
Mullins Bay nearby is also quite popular offering lounge chairs and umbrellas, but you will have to look after your own belongings.
Find more seclusion and quiet at beaches like Fitts Village and Batts Rock. Though both are still signature west coast beaches with a host of amenities, calmer waters and breathtaking views, they are known to be less crowded. But, if its crowds you seek, Sandy Lane can’t be missed. In the heart of one of the most luxurious regions of the island, this beautiful beach is extremely popular and for good reason. Similarly, Colony Club and Glitter Bay will provide you with the dream beachscapes and beach going escapes you’re looking for on a trip to Barbados.

Take in the spectacular view of Payne’s Bay whether you are in the pool on the patio. On the pool deck you can recline in a lounger beneath an umbrella for a nap, a quiet read, or work on your laptop via the wireless Internet.

Beach View offers an incredible host of amenities that cater to your enjoyment vacationing in Barbados. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and rooms have ceiling fans for cooling in the tropical climate.

The Hut Café at Beach View serves up a delicious casual breakfast and lunch. Bistro style items made from the freshest locally sourced food provide a variety of options from homemade granola and banana bread to fresh salads, Panini’s and wraps. Order your items to be enjoyed poolside if you wish. Guests of Beach View are invited to The Hut’s barbecue every Monday night.
Though you may choose to dine on food prepared in your room’s kitchen, there are a host of spectacular restaurants to enjoy near Beach View. The dramatic view and romance of The Cliff poised cliff-side overhanging the ocean, is as wonderful as its food. Featuring an eclectic menu of uniquely prepared international cuisine, this restaurant cannot be missed by any connoisseur of fine dining.
Mews as well has a fabulous reputation for exquisitely prepared food including their Thai Style Green Shrimp Curry.
You will love the unique “stonegrill” style at Elbow Room where you cook your own meat dish on a stone grill at your table.
At Daphne’s you’ll fall in love with the al fresco experience here at the water’s edge. This elegant and upscale restaurant is perfect for a memorable lunch or a romantic dinner for two.
Special occasions call for a special place like The Tides. Seafood is their specialty, but you will find a variety of items including scrumptious lamb.
Spago in neighboring Holetown serves up a menu of authentic Italian cuisine.

Take your pick from dancing to DJ’d music to mingling with locals and celebrities at a venue like Lexy’s Piano Bar. Dine at Nishi, but stay for drinks and the haute crowds that assemble.
Taste the Caribbean at some of the many local rum shops. Be sure to buy your favorites to share when you get home.
